Match report Finally getting a sunny day to play cricket, NCC batted first, Danny taking advantage of some wayward bowling got the score board ticking over. Fozzie and Reevo both fell early to James allowing Noachy to step to the crease and he wasn't going to disappoint. One of the best innings seen at NCC for a while, well constructed with partnerships with the returning Finton and Amir. A Fantastic century with some big hits to finish of a 70 run partnership with Murtagh who also contributed a fine innings.
Safe to say we gave it away in the 1st 10 overs as Northchurch steamed to 70 wickets began to fall and after the openers things looked a lot better for NCC, Gobbo the main threat always looking dangerous and economical, bowled a great spell and got the 5ver he deserved. But their no.3 plugged away swinging from the hip to get the boundaries. In the end we gave ourselves to much to do after the first 10 overs and Northchurch won with 10 overs spare 8 down.
