Match report This was a game notable for the senior debut of three of our under 12 team, Fayzaan Ahmed, Kabir Mehrotha Bhatia and James Kenny, and all acquitted themselves very well to suggest a bright future in senior cricket. Fayzaan took 2 wickets, while James showed excellent control as one of a 4-man battalion of leg-spinners bowling the opposition’s top batsman (Will Buckfield). 14 year old Arun Herai bowled 10 overs of legspin too, taking 1-47. Kabir, who had been livewire in the field, batted with great composure in an excellent 24, while also making Nilesh Patel run a 5 (without the aid of overthrows, and Kabir wanted a 6th)! A fine 100 from Nilesh, in conjunction with 36* from Keith Watson, saw us home. Thanks to Harrow Wayfarers for their usual good humour and in their encouragement of our colts.
