Match report Wednesday 13th June vs Caythorpe. Watty joined us and captained this one. Our ranks gratefully swelled by the arrival of Cameron, Mandar, Indy & Ram, Although it rained at one point we battled through. Caythorpe are our hardest opponents. However, Ram reduced them to quivering wrecks with 4 wickets from 7 balls one a plumb LBW, other 3 being beautiful away swingers, and Shaki chipping in at the other end, they were 45 - 5. It couldn’t last. They ended up with 246 - 9. Far too much, but Watty, Nuss & Stuey (51) getting us to 170 - 7 we were without shame. We then drank all their beer. Nice to see Mr & Mrs Reeve there for Robbie’s 23rd. Cake all round. MOM to their opener, retired out for 106. Decent curry & awards. Good to see your youngsters doing well Shaun, see you at our 6 a side in August.
