Match report
Better get our batting heads on again as this badly let us down. The after effects of cricket week may have had something to do with it but the batting was not good enough. Having said that Radlett definitely got the best of the drying wicket which for the first two hours was doing all sorts and they had the bowling to exploit the wicket.

Radlett won the toss and asked Northwood to bat. Radlett's Opening bowler, Johnson Mafa soon kidded Nusskey into leaving one that straightened on him and Rossco tried to hit out too early in the innings and was caught.

Noachie and Steve Hussey soon steadied the shop although runs were at a premium. They took the score on to 23 before left handed Steve was a long way down the wicket to Mafa was unluckily adjudged LBW after the whole Radlett team went up.

Stuart Browne was then assisted by the wicket putting the ball in the right place to exert bounce to take out the middle order, until James Lewis bashed him for 24 before falling LBW. 96 all out was a poor score with a lack of application

Sadly the wicket had dried out sufficiently for our bowling to get nothing out of it. Noachie sciatic nerve was playing up so he couldn’t bowl. The bowlers all tried hard but no chances were given as Radlett eased their way to the score with the loss of no wickets.

Missing Raz, Mace, Danny Rodgers and Brockers it was always going to be a hard task but there were still 11 capable players out there. Unfortunately we probably didn’t get the rub of the green and it was a very important toss to win. We must buck our ideas up as we are moving in the wrong direction.
