Kings Langley v Northwood Cricket Club 1st XI on Sat 06 Jul 2013 at 1:00 pm
Northwood Cricket Club Lost 14 Points P9

Match report The hottest day for cricket this year and Noachy won the toss when we finally got to the ground after a delayed leave from HQ because of the Lions. Nuss and Stewie opened and put on 86 for the 1st wicket, Nuss getting 43 and Stewie 71, partnerships between Noachy and Murtagh got us climbing to 200 and cameos from the middle order got us to 205, which felt 30-40 runs short.

Kings Langley started brightly with their injured overseas still hitting the ball to all parts before finally giving into the injury. Sunny and Gobbo replaced the openers and wickets came but not at the frequency we needed. Sambrook was able to manufacture the strike to end with a century and NCC would rue dropping him on 50.

Not enough runs on the board and to open into the first 10 overs
