Match report On a very hot Saturday, NCC we asked to field first, and as it was the Saturday after cricket week where many 1st teamers were seen in the bar till 3.30am, this was going to be hard work. But after a week of playing in these conditions NCC faired well, bowling well on a road and not giving Baldock anything. Given the heat and that he has only just returned from a bad ankle injury Jimbo bowled 19 overs straight deserving his 4 (should have been 5 Sunny). Darbo took most probably catch of the season for his dive in the deep. Sunny also picked up 4 and showed his worth to the team.
Chasing 144 was never going to be a problem given the pitch and outfield. Cam and Reevo walked out confidently, especially as Reevo was on great run of form thanks to Cricket Week. 12 off the 1st over and 11 off the 2nd set the tone and NCC worked cruised there way to the target as Reevo punished anything. Cam and Finton made cameo's with Finton hitting the offices. Captain Noachy joined Reevo to see us home and with by 6.15pm by 8 Wickets. Yet another win with many hangovers the weekend after Cricket Week.
