Match report Northwood faced Harefield on a beautiful Sunday Morning with Chris The silent assassin Hudson coming in for Sabarish Tennis Ganesh. Winning the toss and batting first Northwood bowled farily straight but still not straight enough. However the bowlers restricted Harefield sufficiently and took regular wickets. Skipper Kabir took two Sam The enforcer Pragnell, Chris Hudson and Jake Clark one a piece but it was Ben The Colonel Sargeant who bowled two of the opposition and a run out on the last ball of the innings that put Northwood on top at 230 for the loss of 8 wickets.

We then changed the order and Sam opened with Jake The Wall Clarke. Sam carried on his good vein of form despite playing across a straight one early doors then hit 4 fours to make up for it with Jake holding up his end. Chris Hudson and Jashan Birah followed solidly with only the loss of one wicket. Matt Safe Hands Crow and Tyler Smiler Pearce kept the score ticking before Kabir and Sarge took us home ending up on a huge 292 for 3 wickets.

A good result against a weaker team. However still some things to improve on. Bowling straight (not conceding wides)backing up at the non strikers end and when fielding but these are all things we can improve on. Looking forward to the next game!!
