Stanmore C v Northwood Cricket Club Under 10b on Sun 22 May 2016 at 10am
Northwood Cricket Club Lost

Match report Northwood went to Stanmore after some last minute changes with Yash, Vikash, Sebastian coming in at around 9.30 to replace some unavailable players. Nikash took two wickets and Ben one with Nikash putting in a direct hit, which despite being told at least 5 times what that was still didn't know what a direct hit was at the end of the game. However, it was wides that let the team down as 22 were bowled adding 44 to the oppositions total meaning Northwood had to chase 273 to win. Vikash improved too from last week bowling several wides to only 4 this time and getting a third over.

Northwood chased the total from the start with Aryan and Vikash only losing one wicket but then Oliver Smith and Yash Shah put on 30 for the second pair with Oliver scoring 19. However three wickets for the pair was costly. however, Nikash and Rehan kept the score moving and Ben and Sebastian came in needing 28 off the last 4 overs. not an impossible task! The unfortunately fell just short with us losing by 7 runs. A great effort. Fielding much better but bowling straight would be helpful!!! Good stuff. Bowling Practice on Friday...
