Match report U15 League Northwood B 147-3 (20) beat Northwood Town 103-5 (20) by 44 runs

With Raj and Charlie opening with the bat, Raj (19), who was later run out due to a mix up, set about a stable innings alongside Aarav (52 retired not out) who hit some great boundary's. Although we reached a very good total of 147 after the 20 overs, the top scorer was extras with 61. With the bat we need to ensure we keep the scoreboard ticking over and rotating the strike. There was a high number of dot balls compared with those from which runs were scored from. Few points to remember when running. Backing up, loud & clear calling, understanding whose call it is, going for the fast first run and turning to be ready for the second which is usually available against someone in the deep.

In the field, we generally done well, especially Chirayu with some great fielding. We must remember to be alert at all times and ensuring we are backing up and using the long barrier. Generally some good bowling with good figures for Nayan 1-2, Luarence 1-4, Shraven 0-6. Other wickets where a clean bowl from Aarav who used his pace, a Shah brothers run out combo, and another run out for Yash who kept wicket well. Bowling wise we still need to look to bowl straight ensuring we are cutting down on extras. There where several let offs where the batsman went after wides only to get dot balls.
