Match report A very youthful ‘lads and dads’ XII of 8 lads (mostly u-13) and 4 Dads did the club proud at the picturesque White Waltham ground. Despite it being for the most part men against boys, with the help of a scrambled home batting order we reduced WW to 89-5, all clean bowled, with Rahul Chikhliwala taking 3 wickets. WW fought back with 2 very clean strikers taking them to 240-6 in 40 overs. The fielding held up well in the circumstances.

In reply, Bob Harrison raced out of the blocks with a flurry of fours and put on 75 for the third wicket with James Kenny (22) before falling for a fine 66. Adrian Pearce (42) continued the good work with Manav Khindri and Nick Kenny also reaching double figures in the closing overs.
