Match report U15 League Northwood U15b 134-2 (20) lost to Harrow St Marys u15b 138-2 (19) by 8 wickets

Yuv and Nirav opened the batting getting us to 28 runs in 5 overs before the first wicket fell of Nirav. Jashan came in at number 3, and supported by Yuv, they set about a 2nd wicket partnership of 105. Yuv was making steady progress, however the runs kept on coming as Jashan reached his maiden 50 in 42 balls taking 44 minutes. Having opened and spending 69 minutes at the crease, Yuv (33) was bowled out with the penultative ball of the innings before Neil came in for a cameo last ball of the innings. Jashan ended the innnings on 63 not out having spent 53 minutes at the crease and facing 52 balls.

In the field, despite some good moments of fielding and bowling unfortunately we were not able to protect the 134 score we had set HSM. Some loose bowling was punished by the batters, whilst they also took quick singles. The 5 drop catches and a missed run out may have meant a different end, however we should learn from the mistakes and take the learnings forward to the next game.
