Match report U15 League Northwood 134-7 (20) lost to Hayes 135-1 (13.3) by 9 wickets

This was a frustrating underperformance where we only flickered into life on a couple of brief occasions. Manav (31) and Charlie (28) both played really well but we then lost our way until u13 Yuv showed great composure to score 26 and with support from Rahul (10*) and extras we posted what should have been a very competitive 134. However bowling and fielding was well under par – while no one bowls badly on purpose, we need to chase every ball 100%, get our bodies behind it, and dive where needed. Despite a nasty injury to a Hayes batsman, Hayes romped home with almost 7 overs to spare, Mughi bowled with some venom and seemingly no pain, while James took the only wicket.
