Match report U17 League Northwood U17 124-9 (20) lost to OMT U17 150-3 (20) by 26 runs
This was a game that we came alive in the middle third but were well beaten in the other 2!
Bowling and fielding were both a bit off colour compared to the last game, with OMT taking singles and 2s at will. Josh provided the best bowling closely followed by Tyler, although Mughi again bowled quickly.
James absolutely raced out of the blocks with 50 off 19 balls (there cant have been many faster NCC colts 50s and maybe not too many adult ones either?) with support from Ben such that we were 71 for 0 in the 6th over, but after that we lost impetus and only a huge 6 from Gurman and a fine straight 4 from Amey at the end provided much cheer.
So we weren’t quite at the standards we had set in the other matches
